Led by Artistic Director Adonis Rose, the 20-piece New Orleans Jazz Orchestra (NOJO) celebrates and fortifies the American Jazz portfolio through exhilarating and searing performances that take audiences on a prolific musical journey through its ever-increasing repertoire.
Our concert season features performances by the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, as well as special guests at the New Orleans Jazz & Blues Market.
NOJO has headlined all of America’s major performing arts venues and clubs, paying homage to the distinctive traditions of New Orleans jazz, while infusing our signature twist on the music we perform from an ever-increasing repertoire.
Current NOJO members include Adonis Rose (Artistic Director and Founding Member), Ed Peterson (Founding Member), Victor Atkins (Founding Member), Amari Ansari, Trevarri Huff-Boone, John Michael Bradford, Christopher Butcher, Gabrielle Cavassa, Derrick Duget, Ricio Fruge, Steve Glenn, Khari Allen Lee, Amina Michele, Ricardo Pascal, Ashlin Parker, John Perkins, Terrance Taplin, Gerald Watkins Jr., and Alexey Marti.
In addition to a robust performance schedule, NOJO hosts performances at its venue, The New Orleans Jazz & Blues Market, which is located in the Central City neighborhood.
