Sugaray Rayford won the 2023 “Soul Blues Album of the Year” (‘In Too Deep’) at the Blues Music Awards. ALLMUSIC stated, “‘In Too Deep’ is arguably a stronger album than (the GRAMMY® Nominated) ‘Somebody Save Me’ as fine as that was.” In 2020, Rayford won the highly coveted and prestigious Blues Music Award given every year to the most outstanding live performer, the “B.B. King Entertainer of the Year” Award (and he has been Nominated 9 times from 2015-2022 and again in 2025).
