Paul Sanchez has spent five decades crafting songs that blend New Orleans’ musical spirit with rock ‘n’ roll energy and singer-songwriter storytelling. A founding member of Cowboy Mouth, Sanchez released 11 albums and toured extensively with the New Orleans rockers before returning home after Hurricane Katrina to rebuild his life and continue creating music. With 24 solo releases, numerous New Orleans music awards, and songs recorded by artists including Darius Rucker, Irma Thomas, Galactic, and Hootie & the Blowfish, he remains one of the city’s most respected musical voices.
