Multi-instrumentalist and singer Marc Paradis began his musical journey at age 8 on the cello, which he studied all the way through his undergraduate degree in cello performance from Loyola University. In 2001 he co-founded Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes and has performed and recorded with them as guitarist, cellist and singer for 25 years. In addition to his work with the band, Marc has recorded and performed extensively with a wide variety of local and national artists including Smoky Robinson, 311, Nine Inch Nails, the Revivalists, Galactic and many more. In 2026 Marc recorded and released his debut solo album ‘Sea Of Tranquility’, writing, arranging and performing all the instruments and vocals himself.
